What is a Truck Discharge Machine?
A Truck Discharge Machine is a dedicated facility or structure constructed for the efficient and safe unloading of materials from trucks, railcars, front end loaders, pits, hoppers, and barges. Unloading stations are regularly employed in industries such as cement, gypsum, coal, wallboard, limestone, pulp and paper, environmental waste, and mining, where large volumes of bulk solids need to be offloaded effectively without the need of additional manpower.
About WTW’s Truck Discharge Machine
WTW’s Truck Discharge Machine (TDM) is engineered to speed the unloading of materials into a processing facility, without costly excavation and requiring minimal civil work.
The TDM is a complete unloading facility that is designed to receive bulk material from trucks, front-end loaders, barges, and railcars. The TDM will accept a full truck load of material and can be discharged from 0 to 1,200 t/h at constant or variable rates.
Once the TDM is started, acoustical or optical displays advise the truck driver to start dumping, once complete the driver may then leave the area, and the TDM will continue to feed the received material into the process. Curtains and de-dusting systems installed on the TUS will assist with dust control when dumping.
